Catwalk collections are beginning to highlight the benefit of layering for men's ethical clothing, a commentator asserts.
Joel Nikolaou, writing for the Examiner, states that women's designer Richard Chai has made the gender transition by presenting his first collection for men, adapting techniques more common among females to his new audience.
He says the use of layering is an especially noteworthy occurrence as while women have been using this technique for years, it is often excluded from gents' fashions.
"Men can layer too. Men's clothes are very one-dimensional in this aspect - everything is worn separate," he explains.
The successful use of this technique with ethical clothing can add a lot in terms of personal style, as well as presenting the wearer with more options.
Earlier this month, industry guru Lauren Yalich told the Baltimore Sun that layering is set to become one of the biggest trends in the fashion world this year.
