Mens jumpers "will always be in style"

A mens jumper is a garment that will continue to look stylish for years to come - particularly if the item is of a good quality.

This is the view of Macey Hall, writing for the Maine Campus, who says men all need certain pieces in their wardrobes to suit a variety of occasions.

She suggests a cotton-cashmere jumper in neutral shades of blue, grey or black, with V-necks often the most practical choice.

"This kind of sweater will always be in style … While an inexpensive one will work, over time it will begin to pull and wear out faster than a high-quality one," Ms Hall notes.

Jeans are another staple piece and should fit well without being too baggy, she adds.

As the weather turns cooler, males could choose to wrap up and layer a jumper with a shirt underneath, perhaps adding a knitted scarf and hat during winter months.
