Fashionable leggings 'worn with sheepskin style boots'

Leggings and sheepskin style boots are a popular combination, it has been claimed.

Many women are now wearing leggings for a number of occasions and it seems the stretchy items have seen a revival in the fashion world.

And sheepskin style boots are just one popular piece of footwear to wear them with, according to the Bangor Daily News.

Because leggings can now be worn as trousers or with a skirt or dress over the top, they have become very versatile and suitable for a number of occasions.

As well as the sheepskin footwear, high heels, sandals and running shoes are all commonly seen with leggings.

The publication cites one graduate from the Art Institute of Seattle in Washington, who says synthetic fabrics could be responsible for their surge in popularity.

In the 1980s, leggings tended to be baggy or loose because these fabrics did not exist, she explained.

Until recently, some people may have confined the stretchy clothing to that era, when it was made popular by films such as Fame.

But today, many celebrities and other women choose to wear leggings for all sorts of occasions.
