Katie Holmes wraps up in knitwear

Hollywood actress Katie Holmes has been spotted braving the chilly New York weather in a grey knitted cardigan.

The 30-year-old actress wrapped up in ladies' knitwear while she filmed her new movie The Romantics.

Under her stylish cardi, the mum-of-one was wearing just a skimpy negligee.

Her co-stars also wore the latest fashions to ward off the wintery weather; Rebecca Lawrence was pictured keeping her toes toasty in brown sheepskin footwear.

The cosy-looking sheepskin style boots had a fold-over cream fur trim.

Josh Duhamel, who stars in the film alongside Katie and Anna Paquin, wore a pair of brown sheepskin slipper-style shoes as he played ball in between takes to try and keep warm.

Katie is currently dividing her time between New York, where she is filming her movie, and Boston, where her husband Tom Cruise is working on a film.

The couple have a daughter together, three-year-old Suri Cruise.
