Ladies slippers and set routine may aid sleep

Wearing ladies slippers and comfortable clothes could be a part of women's nightly routines that make it easier to fall asleep.

According to OneIndia, it is important to have a set schedule that is followed each day in order to get the most out of slumber.

It suggests: "One of the major reasons for sleep deprivation is faulty lifestyle … You should fix a time to go to bed."

Part of this schedule should involve enjoying a hobby before bedtime, such as reading a book or listening to music.

Women may find putting on their ladies slippers and getting cosy provides the ideal atmosphere in which to do this.

Another tip given by the news source is to simply lie down, as this should allow the body to relax without any other distractions.

The Daily Mirror recently suggested females concentrate on sleep for seven days in order to completely master the art of good quality shut-eye.
