Wearing comfortable ladies slippers and donning a pair of sunglasses may be good ways to ensure a better night's sleep.
The Daily Mail explains many people these days suffer from daytime tiredness due to a lack of daylight.
And they then find it harder to get to sleep at night, as internal body clocks are confused about what time of day it is.
Wearing sunglasses from 16:00 GMT may be one way to help, as Professor Till Roenneberg, of the University of Munich, believes this can expose people to the right amount of natural and artificial light.
But relaxing in a pair of ladies slippers could also allow people to get better quality slumber.
Jessica Alexander from the Sleep Council recently suggested it is important for women to switch off their minds at the end of a busy day.
Unwinding with a book or trying to meditate - which may be easier when wearing cosy clothes and footwear - were cited as ways to help.
