A pair of ladies slippers may be ideal for female students who need to relax and get enough rest while at university.
In an article for the Scribe - the online newspaper for the University of Colorado - one student noted she finds it difficult to concentrate if she has not slept enough the night before.
"My sleeping schedule definitely affects my learning," Marta Hendershot stated, adding that if she is asleep for less than six hours she "hardly retain[s] any information" while in lectures.
"If I get six or more hours, I have more enthusiasm for learning," Ms Hendershot was quoted as saying.
Another student, Mandy Gardener, added she "can't pay attention in class" if she slumbers for less than six hours every night.
Comfortable ladies slippers may be ideal for those at university who are looking to unwind and get enough sleep on a regular basis.
Earlier this week, Dr Matthew Edlund noted resting can be just as good for the body as sleeping, but he urged individuals not to do so in front of the television, as it can reduce the effectiveness of relaxation.
