More Brits 'will shop online at Christmas'

An increasing number of Brits are planning to shop online this Christmas and sheepskin boots are likely to be on fashion-conscious people's minds.

According to the online payment option Paypal, more than 27 million people will be using the internet to do their Christmas shopping in the UK.

Sheepskin boots have been heavily featured in the news recently as more celebrities have been spotted in them.

Coleen Rooney donned a pair of black sheepskin-lined boots for her return home from hospital with newborn baby Kai last week.

X Factor girls Lucie Jones and Stacey Solomon have also been pictured wearing sheepskin style boots recently.

One fan of online shopping, who also wears sheepskin footwear, is the actress Elizabeth Hurley.

She has said she buys on the internet for convenience because she lives in the countryside.

Almost one-third of Brits are also choosing online shopping because of its convenience and to save money.

Garreth Griffith, from PayPal, explained that shoppers would be able to get some "great bargains online this Christmas".
