Sheepskin made in Great Britain could prove to be the perfect material to see people through the upcoming autumn and winter seasons.

According to Shiny Style, while people's minds might be firmly on the trends of summer, the shops are already turning to future designs.

One key item that can see individuals through the colder weather is sheepskin.

Leather jackets lined with a sheepskin collar were tipped for the top, but the website also said footwear made from the sustainable material will prove popular.

"Keep an eye out for workman's boots with sheepskin this winter as seen on the catwalks of Burberry Prorsum - a coolier, grungier version of the shoe-boot that will keep your tootsies warm all winter," the fashion report noted.

Camel and caramel tones are also on trend and Celtic Sheepskin offers a range of sheepskin footwear, including boots in hues such as whisky, spice and coffee, which appear to be of similar shades to autumn and winter's must-have tones.
