sheepskin style boots 'a fashion staple of the last decade'

sheepskin style boots have been appearing on a number of fashion recap lists this week as the first decade of the millenium draws to a close.

Nood Reynolds, style editor for Rochester magazine, told the Post-Bulletin that soft-toed, flat sheepskin boots became a "really practical" addition to her wardrobe.

The newspaper added that sheepskin style boots have been embraced by the likes of the Olsen twins, Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan, who tend to pair the casual footwear with leggings, oversized cardigans, large bags, a scarf and sunglasses.

Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker was commended for her casual winter style - pairing a North Face jacket with her sheepskin style boots - by the Miami Herald, while the Telegraph praised Sienna Miller for her "folksy" style, combining dresses with sheepskin footwear.

A much younger fan of sheepskin style footwear is Zahara, the four-year-old adopted daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

The tot was recently snapped out and about in New York with her mum, dad and sister Shiloh sporting a pair of sheepskin style boots as the temperature dipped below freezing in the Big Apple this week.
