This week, an article posted on the University Daily Kansan website gave one writer the opportunity to look back at how a chestnut-coloured pair of the sheepskin shoes was all that she wanted.

In addition, the article recalled the fact the blogger's parents struggled to find a set of sheepskin style boots of the right size and shade - as at the time, the gift-giving season in full swing.

"A week before Christmas, my dad found himself in the parking lot of the Oak Park Mall overpaying someone he had found on eBay," the piece concluded.

The comments may convince some to get shopping for their sheepskin style boots now rather than wait until the festive period is upon us.
