sheepskin style boots cause celebrity excitement

A number of famous faces have turned out in their sheepskin style boots at an event in the north-west.

Dianne Bourne reports in her column for the Manchester Evening News - entitled the Diary - that there is something about the fashionable footwear that "[gets] us girlies very excited".

She explained this was illustrated at the opening of one store in the city where a number of celebrities were spotted with their stylish sheepskin shoes on - including members of the cast of Coronation Street.

Helen Flanagan, who plays Rosie Webster in the TV soap, was joined by co-star Brooke Vincent at the gathering, with both reportedly going home with a pair of new sheepskin style boots in tow.

Ms Bourne also noted Britannia High actor Marcquelle Ward "wins a gold star for admitting that the pair he selected on the night were to give to his mum".

Other famous faces recently spotted in their sheepskin footwear include reality TV host and footballer's wife Coleen Rooney.
