The comfort of sheepskin style boots proved to be too tempting for one famous TV star following a day spent in heels, it has emerged.

In an article for the Daily Mail this week, Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively was pictured shooting for the latest series of the show in New York City wearing grey peep toe stilettos.

However, when the cameras stopped rolling, the publication explained that it was not long before the "fashion icon" stepped into some sheepskin style boots when winding down from portraying the character of Serena Van Der Woodsen.

A post for the Fashion.ie blog this week also highlighted starlet Britney Spears as a lover of the sheepskin footwear, as the singer is now celebrating her tenth year in the industry.

In addition to "impossibly short shorts, a leopard-print clutch … and a midriff-baring top", the singer was praised for being photographed many times over the years wearing sheepskin style boots and looking "so darn sexy".
