Adopt 'nonchalant' style with ladies cashmere jumpers

Wearing a ladies cashmere jumper could be one way for women to stay on trend this autumn.

Harriet Walker from the Independent writes: "All hail the sloppy sweater, the lazy fashion fan's winter saviour."

She says the knitwear "invokes Parisian nonchalance and is brilliantly low maintenance", which makes it perfect for this time of year.

Females might consider teaming their ladies cashmere jumper with a pair of trousers, which are also proving popular at the moment.

Tailored styles are ideal and can be worn for both formal and casual events, as well as being suitable for the workplace.

Ms Walker suggests opting for either, flared, peg-cut, narrow or wide-legged trousers, all of which are fashionable for the months ahead.

Bethanie Lunn, fashion and beauty journalist and author of The Modern Girl's Guide to Fabulousness, recently advised women to create a "mix and match" wardrobe containing a range of pieces that complement each other.
